A performance work inspired by feminist and speculative fiction exploring embodied resistance.

Inspired by Monique Wittig's "Le Corps Lesbien" and Octavia Butler's speculative novels, showdown creates a choreographic space that engages with themes of bodily autonomy, queer futures, and collective resistance.

The work draws on the radical imagination of feminist and queer literature to construct new performative possibilities, combining references to:

• paragliding
• waterfall
• knotting
• masking

These diverse elements create a layered performance that moves between the poetic and the political, the intimate and the spectacular.
